Pen Pals 02:36
"When you see me, you'll write SUCH a song, you said that in a letter... But I knew then we weren't the same, I think this way is better" ----- We practiced verbal love making, and joked that we would marry, I wondered then, if, when we met, things might not get hairy. ----- I think the night was very dark, we sat before a keyboard, and filled the air with silly talk, I simply say, man, were we bored.

"She's my 400 dollar friend, she's got a lifetime guarantee, don't take much to turn her on, just pick her up and play".

Options 02:29
Options, gimme some options, options, don't restrict me. But don't worry I'd never choose anything that would make you sad, I'd never do that. But I must know that I can do what I want to, for instance, I choose to love you.

Margg 02:43
"Jamaica is a sunny place, at least if you look up but don't look at your breakfast bill, until you've had a cup. They hustle you outside the walls of paradise estates and Marggy was the one I loved, inside the palace gates. ----- I wasn't with her all that much, only about a week but something in my rib cage clicked, around where my heart beats. I can't remember if she wore an actual ring or not but superficial metal doesn't make a wedding knot. ----- I wonder if I've changed since, it's been so many years I still have fond memories engrained between my ears. If Margg and I met on the street, how would we react? In fantasy we'd hug and kiss, but fantasies aren't fact.

about

All tracks recorded on a Dokorder 4 track reel-to-reel, 1976-77. I was very influenced by Brian Eno at that time, especially the instrumental tracks.
In June 2020, they were processed through the Lurssen Mastering Console, using the Pop Rock preset, with some slight tweeking of the EQ levels. Then 1 db of Noise Reduction, and a smidge of Reverb, using Adobe Audition 6.

"Primitively Recorded, amateurishly performed, offered to the God "DOKORDER". I have only vague memories: The light of the Sacred V.U., the hypnotic spin of the reels, the intoxicating tape echo..."
